Troubled football legend Paul Gascoigne is believed to have been drinking in a hotel instead of watching England play at Wembley and this has got his friends worried that if this does not stop, it is inevitable that he will end up dead.
According to the Mirror, on Friday, Gascoigne he was pictured leaving the Bournemouths's Norfolk Royale hotel, where friends say he has been boozing.
After worried pals texted him, he jokingly tweeted that he laughed, because if someone was dead, he could not text the person because he was dead.
A barman at the hotel confirmed Gazza had been drinking there this week but insisted he had been 'okay', the report said.
The star's friends began to fear for him on Tuesday when he was due to go to Wembley to watch England's crucial 2-0 win against Poland, the report added.
A pal was due to pick him up in Soho, Central London, and take him to the stadium but the ex-England, Tottenham, Newcastle and Rangers player did not turn up, according to the report.
Friends frantically tried to find him but his phone was switched off and they feared the worst, the report mentioned.
