New Delhi, Dec. 2(ANI): It's not only the bride who undergoes a stress-filled phase before marriage, the groom goes through it as well as he is quite capable of stroking out in the process of choosing his wedding day outfit.

One thing grooms often crib about is the fact that they don't have enough clothing options like women, but if designer Surekha Jain is to be believed then mean can do a lot with their wedding outfits.

"Silhouettes that are trending for the grooms this season are the Jodhpur pants along with short kurta and Nehru jacket. Such kind of dresses are not very Indian and not very western, they are Indo-western, so if the bride is wearing something edgy it matches perfectly," Jain told ANI during the Wedding Extravaganza at DLF Emporio here.

Surekha further said that grooms should avoid playing "matching-matching" with their brides because it doesn't look classy at all and the effect can ruin the wedding pictures.

Jewels are often considered a girl's best friend, but even men can make them a part of their dressing. Talking about the choices of jewellery that grooms can don on their big day, jewellery designer Purnima Sheth said, "Today's men are very metrosexual and they love wearing jewellery, so on their wedding day they can pair up with designer broaches and kalgis."

"Along with the regular neck pieces groom can give a twist to their attire with sherwani buttons and cufflinks," she added.

Talking about the wedding bands, Sheth said that what's topping the list this season for men are simple wedding bands with a secret message inscribed on the inside of the ring.

So, not only the brides, but the grooms can also give a twist to their traditional wedding attires this season.
