James Franco opened about seducing the 17-year-old schoolgirl online and said that he was a "gentleman".
During the interview on 'Sirius XM' radio show, the 36-year-old actor, who's flirty texts to the teenager Lucy Clode were leaked, said that he didn't mean any harm and he isn't going to high schools seeking dates, the Mirror reported.
He continued saying that the youngster gave him a green signal by saying that she doesn't have a boyfriend if he's around and hence cannot be tagged as a 'victim'.
He was just trying to meet somebody like everyone does but his dirty s**t gets publicized internationally, he added.
The '127 Hours' star admitted that he had approached the teen, who was in New York for a birthday trip, and had asked her questions regarding her whereabouts, where she's staying, and whether or not she has a boyfriend.
