George Clooney popped the question to Amal Alamuddin with a ring worth 450,000 pounds.
The 53-year-old actor proposed to the human rights lawyer and they celebrated their engagement with a few friends at Cafe Habana in Malibu, Florida, the Daily Star reported.
Sources revealed that Alamuddin had rejected his romantic advances several times and even refused to give him her telephone number, before he went down on one knee and proposed to her.
