George Harrison's guitar played during early Beatles tour has fetched over 300K pounds at an auction.
The late 58-year-old singer-songwriter used the guitar onstage in the legendary Cavern club on Liverpool's Matthew Street, as well as during a UK tour, the Independent reported.
The instrument, bought by an undisclosed bidder, fetched more than one of Elvis' Las Vegas stage suits, which went for 122,000 dollars and a tank top worn by Madonna, which fetched 25,000 dollars.
Harrison, who died in 2001, had borrowed the guitar from a music shop and played it in the summer of 1963.
