George Harrison's guitar that helped The Beatles to rise to stardom is expected to fetch 360,000 pounds at an upcoming auction.
The 1962 Rickenbacker 425 guitar, which was refinished from orange to black by Harrison, will go under the hammer at Julien's Auctions in New York, the Daily Express reported.
Darren Julien, auctioneer, said that the guitar is one of the most significant Beatles guitars ever to come up for auction, as it is a huge part of Beatles history.
Harrison played the iconic guitar in numerous shows including appearances on music programs like 'Ready, Steady, Go!' and 'Thank Your Lucky Stars' and in the band's hit track 'I Want to Hold Your Hand'.
