Glenn Close saved her sister Jessie's life 10 years ago, when the latter came up to her and said that she couldn't stop killing herself.
While speaking to People Magazine, the 67-year-old actress said that she was shocked and then relieved that he sister told her, but then sadness filled her up thinking that her sister was so much in pain.
Jessie revealed that there was a voice inside her head asking her to kill herself, but she knew if she told her sister then she might not do it.
Days later, Close met her sister at the Boston airport and drove her to McLean Hospital, where she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at age 51.
Jessie added that that she thanks god that her sister was there that time as she saved her life.
