Aziz Ansari, who took home the trophy for Best Actor in a Comedy or Musical at the 2018 Golden Globes, has become the first Asian male to win the award in this category.
He got the honour for his role in Netflix's 'Master of None'. This is Ansari's second Golden Globe nomination and first win.
He was previously nominated for a Golden Globe in 2016 for 'Master of None'.
The 34-year-old, in his acceptance speech, said, "I genuinely didn't think I was gonna win cause all the websites said I was going to lose. That would've been s--y if I had lost two years in a row."
Ansari beat 'Black-ish's Anthony Anderson, 'I Love Dick's Kevin Bacon, 'Shameless' William H. Macy, 'Will & Grace's Eric McCormack to take home the award.
