Google has released a new Information Rights Management tools in Drive to help users keep their files safe.
According to thenextweb.com, the users can now disable the ability to download, print, or copy a file through the advanced sharing menu. Developers can also implement the functionality in their apps with an API
When these features, documents, spreadsheets and presentations are disabled by the users, they will be notified that export options have been disabled in the File menu
This should make it tough for others users to copy files that may contain important information.
The feature should be released to everyone on July 15 but for now it is Web only.
