Google Maps will now tell your friends if your battery is running low

Remember the time when you are trying to navigate to an unknown place to meet your friends and the battery dies down? Well, Google has come up with a solution for that.

Google Maps has been added with a new feature that allows you to share your battery level information with your friends, Mashable reported.

The feature is an opt-in service targeted primarily at the safety of the user.
