Google is reportedly developing a new software called Pony Express that will allow users to pay their bills directly from Gmail inboxes.
According to the Verge, the new project is named Pony Express but it could also be an internal code name.
Users will have to provide personal information before using the software that will include social security number. Although the data and identify verification will be handled by a third party rather than Google itself.
The bills can be paid right within Gmail or Inbox, the company's other email app that puts a greater focus on organization and surfacing messages that are timely or important.
