A group of people associated with Netra Bikram Chand-led CPN Maoist attacked the Dish Home office in Bhaisepati on Wednesday using petrol bomb.
The attack, which was carried out at 6:30 am, destroyed the main tower of the digital satellite service.
The police suspect that there would be a huge loss of property due to the fire caused by the attack.
Chand-led CPN Maoist had repeatedly warned Dish to stop airing Indian television channels in a protest against the alleged Indian blockade on Nepal.
As per the police, the attack might have been in response to the warnings that were ignored by Dish Home.
All transmission of Dish Home, including Indian television channels, has stopped following the attack.
