Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Thursday kept the decision on petroleum products pending, with indications of clearing it in the next 26th Goods and Services Tax (GST) meeting.
"Today it was not discussed but its possible it will be discussed in the next meeting," Arun Jaitley said while speaking at the media conference.
The GST Council approved rate changes of 29 goods and 53 categories of services.
Adding to this, Jaitley announced rates cut on used motor vehicles from 28 percent to 18 percent.
He added that the Council decided to raise rates on cigarette filter rods from 12 percent to 18 percent.
