Gujarat Governor Kamla Beniwal shifted to Mizoram

Gujarat Governor Kamla Beniwal has been transferred to Mizoram for the remainder of her term.

Rajasthan Governor Margaret Alva will be discharging the duties and functions of the Gujarat Governor until a new governor is appointed.

Meanwhile, Mizoram Governor Vakkom Purushothaman has been shifted to Nagaland. He will continue to hold the additional charge of the office of the Governor of Tripura.
