Gujarat Lions' Jadeja reprimanded for showing dissent at umpire's decision
Gujarat Lions all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has received an official reprimand by the match referee for showing dissent at an umpire's decision during his side's 23-run defeat against Kings XI Punjab yesterday.
The 27-year-old admitted the Level 1 offence under Article 2.1.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct for Players and Team Officials) and accepted the sanction.
In his three overs, Jadeja bagged only a wicket while giving away 28 runs. He also scored 11 runs in his side's innings.
