Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will shortly brief the media in Parliament regarding the Gurdaspur terror attack.
The attack, which took place when some terrorists attacked the Dinanagar Police station in Punjab's border district of Gurdaspur, has claimed the lives of nine civilians.
One of the terrorists, too, has been neutralized by security forces in the attack.
IG Border Zone, Ishwar Chander, said there is no hostage situation till now while Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar stated that Special Forces have been deployed in Gurdaspur and the counter insurgency forces are already there.
