Gurez avalanche: Bodies of two missing soldiers recovered
The bodies of two soldiers, who went missing after an avalanche hit Gurez region of Bandipora on December 10, were recovered today along with their weapons.
A search operation is underway to find another soldier who went missing during the same period.
The bodies were recovered near Baktore area of Gurez at around 3 pm today.
The soldiers have been identified as Shiv Singh and Pramanik.
They belonged to Army's 36 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) Unit, stationed at Baktore area of Gurez.
