Gwyneth Paltrow's rep has denied reports that the actress asked her friend to boycott Vanity Fair magazine's Oscar bash.

Paltrow has reportedly been at odds with the influential pop-culture magazine over an article they're planning to publish about her in an upcoming issue, Us Magazine reported.

The 'Iron Man' star had allegedly tried to prevent the piece from happening earlier this year.

According to a report from The New York Times, she wrote an email to her celebrity friends asking them to refrain from speaking about her with the magazine.
