Australian vice-captain Brad Haddin has said that his worst part of the week is the seven minutes he has to face Mitchell Johnson in his nets and no matter what wicket one plays on, pace is always handy.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Johnson's 152km/h bullet tore into Alastair Cook's off stump during a frighteningly quick opening from the Australian fast bowler late on Friday and now are 172 all out owing to some belligerent pace by the bowler.

Haddin said that Johnson had some serious pace and he noticed up on the board that he had the six fastest balls of the day after his first seven or so balls.

Haddin added that it was good fun watching Johnson bowl behind the stumps and it was always good to have someone bowling 150km/h in one's team.

Haddin earlier scored the fourth hundred of his career, and first in three years, but only after being given an unexpected reprieve on 51, the report said.
