Haddin likely to retire, indicates Clarke

Outgoing Australian skipper Michael Clarke has indicated that veteran wicket-keeper Brad Haddin would follow him and Chris Rogers into retirement after the final Ashes Test at Kennington Oval.

Haddin, who left the early tour citing family reasons, if retires will be the fourth Australian to retire in the ongoing Ashes after Clarke, Rogers and Ryan Harris, Sport24 reported.

Harris had called off his international career on the eve of Ashes after suffering from a prolonged knee injury and Rogers confirmed that the Oval clash would be his last Test.

Clarke who plays his final international match today, had earlier expressed his desire to regain some lost pride in the Ashes finale and that the Oval Test would be an assessment of his side's character.

Meanwhile, England, who have already regained the Ashes after their crushing victories over the arch rivals at Edgbaston and Trent Bridge respectively, would be eyeing to create history at the Kennigton Oval.
