Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton produced a dominating performance as he outpaced teammate Nico Rosberg to emerge as the fastest driver in the opening practice session of this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.
Hamilton, who clocked his fastest lap in one min and 15.537 seconds, was just 0.101 seconds quicker than the German driver, Sport24 reported.
Meanwhile, Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel finished third ahead of Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo.
Hamilton, who is looking for his first win since the US Grand Prix in 2015, is currently trailing by 43 points from Rosberg in the points table.
