Mercedes ace Lewis Hamilton has admitted that he needs to get his 's**t' together and improve after being beaten by his teammate Nico Rosberg at the Monaco Grand Prix.
Not only did Rosberg outqualify Hamilton for the third race in succession, but also Hamilton cocked up his pit-stop to finish fourth while the German zoomed to glory, the Mirror reports.
Stating he loss to Rosberg is a greater concern for him even more than the secret tyre test controversy which may see Mercedes slapped with a ban, Hamilton said that the tyre issue is a team focus, while he has to focus on his game to get his act together.
Denying that Rosberg's pace-setting form this season has come as a shock, the 2008 world champion however, said that although he expected Rosberg to be competitive, he thought that he had more ability to win the race.
However, the Brit said that that the Monaco race was a blessing in disguise as it made him identify the issues that he needed to sort out and also has given him time to improve on them.
Firing back at world champion Sebastian Vettel who accused the Mercedes duo of driving their cars like buses during Sunday's race, Hamilton said that it is easy for Vettel to say that as he has been driving the fastest car for the last four years.
