Mercedes ace racer Lewis Hamilton considers that family power could help fire him to the Formula One world title this season.
Hamilton has been re-united with dad Anthony, who was sacked as his manager in 2010, and the re-appearances of his parents at races has proved a lucky charm, with the Briton surging three points ahead of championship rival and teammate Nico Rosberg.
Hamilton said that when his father stopped being his manager he said that he could not wait for the day when his dad is just there as his dad, and he added that that is now, The Mirror reported.
The British racer said that his father came to the car as he was getting in and shook his hand like when he was a kid. He also said that he has missed his father.
Hamilton said that since the first day he ever got in a kart when he was eight his father has been there and that is one of the most special things.
