Power minister of Haryana, Ajay Singh Yadav, resigned from his post on Tuesday and blamed what he called 'inequality and bureaucracy prevalent in the state'.
He said promises made by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda government in Haryana have not been fulfilled.
"Only bureaucrats are placed in Right to Information department and other departments. Bureaucracy has taken over (workers)," said Yadav.
However, he did not resign from the party and said he would always remain a Congressman.
Congress suffered a defeat at the hands of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the state in the recently concluded general elections.
