Asserting that she has no ambitions of wanting to be included in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Cabinet, Bharatiya Janata Party MP Hema Malini, said on Sunday she was happy to work for the development of her parliamentary constituency Mathura.

"I have no wish to join the Union Cabinet. I am very happy with what I am doing here. I have been given an opportunity to work for the development of Mathura, I am doing it with dedication," said Malini.

The veteran Bollywood actress added that if she landed in Delhi as a minister, then her work in Mathura would suffer because she was working with full dedication in her constituency.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will today add 20 new faces in the Union Council of Ministers. Ahead of the swearing-in ceremony that is scheduled to take place at 1:30 pm in the Durbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan, Prime Minister Modi hosted the ministers to be inducted in the Cabinet over tea at his official 7, Race Course Road (RCR) in the national capital.

Manohar Parrikar, who tendered his resignation as the Chief Minister of Goa on Saturday, is expected to take charge as the country's next Defence Minister.

Besides Parrikar, party MPs Anurag Thakur, Col. Sonaram Chaudhary and Hansraj Ahir are among those likely to be included in the Cabinet.

BJP leaders Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Bandaru Datttatreya are also expected to be allotted Cabinet berths.

Former union minister Yashwant Sinha's son Jayant too is in the race for the Cabinet berth, with reports suggesting that the first-time Hazaribagh MP is being considered as a Minister of State (MoS) for Defence or Finance.

Olympian shooter-turned-politician Rajyavardhan Rathore, who won from Rajasthan in the general elections, is expected to be included in the Cabinet.

Shiv Sena's Suresh Prabhu and Anil Desai, and TDP's Y.S. Choudhary are also expected to find a place in the Cabinet.

According to reports, the upcoming assembly elections in different states are also being taken into consideration while finalizing the list of new faces.
