Heavy rains left a majority of roads in national capital flooded, and caused a pile-up of traffic at key intersections on Friday.

Traffic was reported to be moving at slow pace at several places following the rains.

Commuters had a hard time travelling due to poor visibility and pedestrians were seen wading through streets flooded by overflowing drains.

As per the Met office, several areas in the national capital region will witness rain and thundershowers through the day.

Friday's maximum temperature is likely to hover around 32 degrees Celsius.
