Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren won the trust vote in the state assembly today.
"I gave a list of 43 MLAs support to Governor Syed Ahmed and now we have proved it," said Soren after winning the trust vote.
The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) alliance won 43 votes in the 82-member house, while the opposition got 37 votes.
Soren, who was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Jharkhand on July 13, earlier in the day moved a motion of vote of confidence in the one- day special session of state assembly.
