Jennifer Lawrence, Reese Witherspoon, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodly and Scarlett Johansson are up for Best Female Performance, whereas the contenders for the Best Male Performance include Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Ansel Elgort, Miles Teller and Channing Tatum, the Mirror reported.
The 'Guardians of the Galaxy', a space adventure comedy has been speculated to win the race of Movie of the Year opposite to 'The Fault in Our Stars', 'American Sniper', 'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part 1', 'Gone Girl', 'Boyhood', 'Whiplash', and 'Selma'.
The annual prestigious ceremony will take place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on April 12.
