Hockey: India beats Japan 2-1, wins Test Series

Indian defeated Japan 2-1 in the third match of the ongoing bilateral contest, winning the four-test match hockey series.

India opened their account with a superb goal by India's drag flick expert V R Raghunath in the 30th minute of the match, just before the end of the second quarter.

In the third quarter India struck again with Akashdeep Singh scoring a superb goal in the 36th minute, extending India's lead to 2-0.

Hirotaka Wakari scored the only goal for Japan in the 44th minute of the match.
