Holland boss Van Gaal on top of Spurs' wish-list for new manager job

Holland boss Louis van Gaal is at the top of Tottenham's wish list to fill their vacant manager position after the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas, according to reports.

According to the Mirror, the 62-year-old Dutchman is currently in charge of Holland and his highly successful track record at has impressed the Tottenham board.

Van Gaal has won domestic and European trophies at Ajax, AZ Alkmaar, Bayern Munich and Barcelona, the report said.

Van Gaal has gone on record to state that his one remaining ambition is to lead a top English club, the report added.
