President Barack Obama Chicago White Sox jacket, which he wore at the 2009 All-Star Game, won't be making the cut at the Baseball Hall of Fame as the first lady had already retired the jeans.
The US President, who will be donating the jacket, was at the Hall in Cooperstown, New York, where he admitted to know that the jeans he wore to throw out the first pitch had garnered quite a bit of media attention, but said that Michelle gave up on them quite a while back, Politico reported.
During his visit, Obama, who's a known White Sox fan, also toured the Hall where he held up Babe Ruth's bat and the first presidential opening day pitch baseball thrown by President Howard Taft in 1910.
He also read President Franklin D. Roosevelt's 1942 green-light letter, which stated continuing baseball during the 2nd World War.
