The Hyderabad High Court today issued a notice against actress Mallika Sherawat for allegedly dishonouring the Indian national flag.

The petitioner T. Dhangopal Rao, approached the high court and filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) against her questioning her defaming the nation over a poster of a film that shows the Bollywood actress draped in the three colours of the national flag.

The court has asked them to reply to the notice in a month.

In the poster of the film Dirty Politics, Sherawat has been portrayed sitting on top of a car with a red beacon light, just wearing the Indian tricolour.
