I am people's hero: John Abraham

Stardom, which entails big responsibility, may a burden for some, but not for John Abraham as he is already a "people's hero."

"I am a people's hero. So, the most important thing to me is the acceptance by the people. My audience is my Godfather. It feels good when audience say John Abraham is our hero," he told the media here yesterday.

Known for his fit-bod and terrific stunts, the 43-year-old actor explained that he understands what people want, hence, he mostly does action-based films.

"Action heroes get well acceptance as most of the people like watching action. Most of my films are action based. For example, after 'Dishoom,' I will come up with 'Force 2.' I exactly know what people want," he said.

On a related note, John spoke about his hot and sexy look in his latest outing 'Dishoom' and said that he is working to make it better for the upcoming flick, 'Force 2.'

He added, "People are saying that they have never seen John Abraham to be such fit before. So now, I have to raise my standard. I am undergoing training force 2. I will try to look fitter in 'Force 2'."

'Force 2,' which also stars Sonakshi Sinha, is slated to hit the theatres on November 18.
