Aizawl FC have bemused everyone with their dazzling display this season, especially at home where they are still undefeated, even after the tenth round of I-League.

Having mustered twenty points from ten matches, Aizawl FC look the better team compared to the visitors Chennai City FC, who have earned themselves mere eight points playing the same number of matches.

However, Aizawl FC had been defeated 0-2 earlier this season by the debutants, courtesy the goals netted by Marcos 'Tank' Vinicius and Charles de Souza. Aizawl FC will be attempting to overturn the result tomorrow in front of their fans.

Chennai FC head coach V Soundararajan sounded pretty confident ahead of today's game, "All my players are fit, but we might face certain difficulties because of the artificial turf."

The boys from Chennai will have to adjust as best as they can to garner a positive result.

Sitted at the ninth position with just Churchill Brothers FC Goa below them, he maintained, "There are still several matches to be played. We will try our best in those matches to be safe and to end the season with a good result."

Chennai City FC midfielder Lalnun Mawia also spoke of his excitement to be playing in his home state, "I am very thrilled to be playing here in Aizawl because the turnout is always huge for the Hero I-League matches."

Reflecting on their defeat at Chennai, Aizawl FC coach Khalid Jamil yesterday stated, "Tomorrow's match is an important one. We are playing a team who defeated us at their home pitch. We have to try to do the same thing to them tomorrow."

He also added, "We have to give our best, if we do that, everything will be okay."

Aizawl FC will have to play without their key player Lalruatthara who is down with an injury. R. Laldanmawia is likely to be seen on the pitch tomorrow after having scored the winner against Kingfisher East Bengal in their last home match.

Brandon VL Remdika also asserted his enthusiasm for the match tomorrow, "We hope to see a large turnout as the support of fans is a great boost for us." Brandon also spoke of his team's successful campaign this season, "We have a good chemistry. The main focus is on excellent teamwork.
