Katie Holmes has admitted that she liked playing the strong female lead in her upcoming drama film 'Miss Meadows'.

The 35-year-old beauty said that she enjoyed playing a prim and proper elementary school teacher who moonlights as a vigilante in the film because the character had great manners and innocence; she also asserted that the character could take care of business, the New York Post reported.

She added that she's a fan of such strong female characters and it was great to play this one.
