Cory Monteith's dad has revealed that he still misses his son and still feels the void of losing him.
Speaking on the first death anniversary of the former 'Glee' star, his father, Joe Monteith, admitted that he continues to mourn his loss deeply and still has "the empty feeling", People Magazine reported.
Joe, who was excluded from his son's funeral, said that it would have meant a lot to him if he was allowed to attend his viewing, but he added that his estranged wife will be sending some of the late actor's stuff to him.
He revealed that they had been working to rebuild their relationship recently but he wasn't in touch with his son when he checked into rehab
Cory died of an overdose of heroin and alcohol on July 13 last year.
