Suspended Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer Durga Shakti Nagpal met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav here on Saturday.
According to reports, Nagpal met Yadav along with her husband. She met Yadav for the first time since her suspension.
Nagpal's suspension by the Samajwadi Party (SP) Government in July this year triggered nationwide outrage.
The Uttar Pradesh Government had last month ordered a probe into Nagpal's suspension.
Nagpal was suspended as the SDM on July 27, attached with the state revenue board and served a chargesheet August 4. The Uttar Pradesh Government had in its chargesheet accused Nagpal of taking a hasty administrative decision in demolishing a wall.
Commenting on Nagpal's suspension, Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh had on August 6 said rules laid down would be followed in the case.
