In an exemplary event, Dr. Gaurav Nigam, a debutant author and pediatrician by profession launched an NGO- iCare Noble, with a vision to improve the lives of underprivileged children and bring smile on their faces.

The initiative is set to creating a platform where the whole society can fight against a major social evil i.e. 'Malnutrition among Children' while eradicating its root cause.

The NGO launch event was held at Gold Course, Railway Eco Park, Chanakyapuri in New Delhi and witnessed eminent personalities from diversified backgrounds. The launch ceremony was graced by eminent personalities like Ex-MLA of Delhi Sumesh Shokeen, Major General Debashish Roy (Head of Army Education) and A.K. Chaturvedi, an IAS Officer, amongst others.

According to World Bank data, India has one of the world's highest demographics of children suffering from malnutrition which is said to be double that of Sub-Saharan Africa with dire consequences. India is ranked 80th out of 104 countries in the Global Hunger Index 2015.

Apart from that, India's high infant and maternal mortality rates are a true national shame. iCare Noble believes in leaving no stone unturned to tackle the menace of malnutrition.

Dr. Gaurav Nigam expressed his concerns regarding the problems that underprivileged children have been facing so far and briefed the audience about objectives and projects that iCare Noble has stored in the basket.

"As we lay the building blocks of iCare Noble, we are fortunate to mark the historic moment. iCare Noble is not just a mere NGO, it is beyond than that. It's a ray of hope for such underprivileged children who are waiting for a helping hand to let light shine out of darkness. At iCare Noble, we are willing to work closely to fostering our commitment and accountability, and mobilizing resources across various segments to eradicate hunger and all forms of malnutrition." said Dr. Gaurav Nigam.

iCare Noble aims at presenting innovative and unique ways to do charity without donating money while replacing 'traditional marketing' to a new concept of more noble, compelling and authenticate marketing suggested by Dr. Nigam. Being an NGO, iCare Noble has come up with new projects such as iCare CHECKIN'S, Restaurant Business Model, and so on which are more focussed on feeding the needy and hungry children in the easiest and cost efficient manner.
