ICGS 'Abhiraj' provides aid to fishing boat off Tuticorin coast

Indian Coast Guard (ICG) ship 'Abhiraj' on Wednesday provided assistance to a fishing boat off the Tuticorin coast in Tamil Nadu.

The boat with six crew aboard had engine failure and was adrift.

ICGS Abhiraj reached the area and provided basic logistic help.

Presently, ICGS Abhiraj is towing the boat to Tuticorin.
