An MoU was signed here on Thursday between the Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM), Ministry of Tourism) and Indira Gandhi National Tribal University (IGNTU), Ministry of HRD, to offer a full-fledged MBA program in tourism.
IITTM Director Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kulshreshtha and IGNTU Vice Chancellor Prof. T.V. Kattimani exchanged the signed documents in the presence of the Minister of State for Tourism Mahesh Sharma.
The IITTM will now start the MBA program in place of the earlier PGDM course in collaboration with the National Tribal University which has a pan India presence.
Tourism Secretary Lalit Panwar and other senior officials were among those present on the occasion.
