Speaking at the inauguration of his party's Lahore office, Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan said that the public protest, Azadi March, initiated by his party, will aim to root out corruption in Pakistan and bring in a system that is just and fair.

According to the Dawn, hinting that the mass protest organized by his party in Islamabad will not end soon, Khan said on Thursday that Azadi March will not be a 20-20 match but a Test series.

Calling the battle a final one to rid the country of corruption, he added that the status quo can be changed only by coming out on roads. Khan also said that the protest assembly will not just be against the electoral fraud committed in the General Elections last year but against the entire existing system that does not allow the honest candidates to defeat those who are corrupt.
