The 'Independence Day' has revealed its star cast for the highly anticipated sequel that includes Jeff Goldblum, Liam Hemsworth and 'Survivor's Remorse' star Jessie Usher.
Roland Emmerich, the director of the upcoming sequel of the adventure film posted a picture of Goldblum and Hemsworth on Instagram and captioned his excitement to officially announce the actors as the next two pieces of his sequel, E! Online reported.
The sequel of Will Smith starrer 1996 movie will have Goldblum in the lead role and Usher playing Smith's son in the film.
Usher also posted his excitement by sharing snippets of media reports about his next role.
It's been almost 20 years of Smith's version of 'Independence Day' that grossed over 800 million dollars after its massive release, and now the sequel is all set to release on June 24, 2016.
