The third and final T20 International match between India and Australia at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium was abandoned due to wet outfield on Friday.
With this result, the three-match series was shared 1-1.
The series-deciding T20I match was called off after match officials conducted multiple inspections and ruled that the pitch was not suitable for play.
India won the rain-hit first T20I after overcoming Australia by nine-wickets in Ranchi. However, the visitors drew level with in Guwahati, thanks to a brilliant four-wicket spell from fast bowler Jason Behrendorff who helped the Baggy Greens to register an easy eight-wicket win.
The T20 series was preceded by a five-match ODI series which India won 4-1.
