India-Russia talks warm, cordial: MEA

The Ministry of External Affairs termed as warm and cordial the talks between External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry O Rogozin.

MEA spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said in a press conference that besides being warm and cordial, the talks were wide ranging and included a detailed discussion on defence matters.

Akbaruddin also said that a proposal was made to have a India trade show in Moscow in September. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj today met Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry O Rogozin in the first high level contact between the two nations since the formation of a new government in India.
