India -Singapore to strengthen ties, Sushma meets Defence Minister

The Defence Minister of Singapore Ng Eng Hen met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj here today.

The Singapore Defence Minister is in India on a three day visit.

Sushma Swaraj had recently visited Singapore to take part in the celebration of 50 years of diplomatic ties between India and Singapore.

India has asked Singapore to provide its expertise as the two countries decided to step up economic engagement besides defence and security cooperation.
