According to The Express Tribune, India were given a solid opening stand of 84 runs by Lokesh Rahul and Unmukt Chand that led to the side's victory as Rahul scored 49 while Chand made 61.
Left-arm spinner Raza Hasan produced notable figures of three for 39 but India's Warrier bagged the man-of-the-match title for his fiery bowling performance, the report said.
Pakistan U23 meets Afghanistan today in their second group match, the report added.
