Indian cricketers toiled again in their second and final warm-up game against Derbyshire, allowing the hosts to pile up 326 runs for the loss of five wickets on the first day of the three-day fixture.

The seamers were once again found wanting, with lead pacer Ishant Sharma bowling nine no-balls in his spell of 12 overs, the BBC reports.

For Derbyshire, Wes Durston top scored with 95, while Ben Slater, Billy Godleman and debutant Harvey Hosein all hit half-centuries.

India plays its first of five Tests against England from July 9 to 13 at Trent Bridge, and their performance in two warm-up county fixtures may be a cause of concern for the team think tank.

Of the bowlers, only left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja had better luck, capturing 2-27.

India used nine bowlers, including skipper Mahendra Dhoni, on Tuesday.
