Indian waiter's brother hopeful remains will be recovered in Costa Concordia search operation

The relatives of the two people still missing from the Costa Concordia disaster

are hopeful that the bodies will be found.

The relatives were taken to the cruise ship as authorities prepare to restart efforts to find the missing bodies of the two people.

According to news.com.au, 32 had died in the disaster, but the remains of Russel Rebello, an Indian waiter, and Maria Grazia Trecarichi, an Italian passenger, remain unaccounted for.

They are assumed to be inside the hull.

Rebello's brother Kevin and Trecarichi's husband Elio Vincenzi and daughter Stefania were taken to the site of the disaster by port authorities on Wednesday.

They threw flowers into the sea when they got close to the Concordia.

Kevin Rebello said he expected searches on the Concordia will resume by the end of the week.

He said that scuba divers have been ready since and the search operation might begin a day or two, adding that they all were waiting and hoping that the bodies would be found.

The cruise liner crashed against a reef and partly capsized near the Italian island of Giglio on January 13, 2012.
