Donations were meant to be a confidential affair. But Instagram thinks otherwise and wants you to use the power of internet and technology to help spread the word about the causes you care about.
App whisperer Jane Manchun Wong revealed in her latest tweet that Instagram is working on a 'Donation' sticker. The sticker allows users to start fundraisers for their favourite non-profits.
The feature is currently under beta and it is unclear if it will make it to the masses. Until then, if you want to start a fundraiser, you will have to stick to the current method of 'link in bio' to redirect users to donate.
