Yuli Edelstein, the speaker of the unicameral national legislature of Israel, Knesset, has warned that the international donors' aid money to rebuild Palestine post the Gaza war might flow to Hamas if the global community did not supervise it.
According to the Jerusalem Post, Edelstein said that nothing would reach the citizens without the supervision of the global community.
The damage from a lack of supervision would be twice and the money would be completely wasted, said Edelstein.
He also condemned Cairo for not inviting Israel to Sunday's conference wherein the donation was announced and said that it would have been more effective if Israeli representatives were present.
Edelstein stressed on the supervision of the money saying that if they do not want to donate large sums of money again and again then they should manage the flow.
